Hi, I’m Chris Escobar - founder of Richie Deluna, entrepreneur, and content operations strategist passionate about storytelling, digital media, and building brands that connect across cultures.
I bring over 15 years of experience leading content, partnerships, and operations for major media and tech companies. Most recently, I worked as Content Operations Manager at NBCUniversal’s Telemundo Enterprises, where I managed the flow between Telemundo and Peacock, including next-day VOD, original content, the launch of the Tplus brand, and live entertainment specials.
Before that, I led cross-functional content operations at Allen Media Digital, streamlining OTT delivery and onboarding content partners. I also spent several years running global partnerships at IBM's The Weather Channel and weather.com, generating over $10M in revenue and expanding media distribution across Europe, North America, and Asia.
My background also includes digital marketing and social media work with VMLY&R and Cheil Worldwide, launching campaigns for brands like Samsung Latin America, Coors Light U.S. Hispanic, The North Face Central America, and more. And it all started with my roots in Salvadoran media—managing social media and coordination for the morning radio show Pencho y Aida.
I graduated with honors from Don Bosco University of El Salvador with a degree in communication and multimedia, and in 2018, I was honored with their Communicator of the Year Award.
Whether I’m building a brand, managing content supply chain, or crafting strategy for digital platforms, I’m all about finding creative ways to move people, ideas, and businesses forward.
